AgriThority® Expands Presence in AfricaAmericas and Animal Health  

(Kansas City, Missouri, USA — Dec. 14, 2020)  AgriThority®, an agricultural product development company specializing in accelerating new technologies to commercialization around the world, adds three Associates to the global networkThe additions will expand coverage of southern Africa, enhance global business development and build on existing animal health expertise.

Stewart Wilson joins AgriThority® to work on business and field development projects in southern Africa from his location in Harare, Zimbabwe. Working as a crop protection agronomist since 1994, Wilson has focused on field development of crop protection products to confirm their performance. He reports to Atilla Akin, AgriThority Business Manager – EMEA Region, and will collaborate with the global AgriThority team to extend coverage across southern Africa. 

We are very pleased to announce the addition of Stewart J. Wilson to the SubSaharan African countries,” Akin says. “He has a wide set of experiences and expertise in all agricultural business aspects as an agronomist. Stewart’s technical and scientific background spans from row crops and vegetables to specialty agriculture and horticultural production, as well as public health. He is a great addition to expand our reach into countries in southern Africa.

AgriThority also welcomes Tony Pardo as a Business Development and Account Manager  Associate reporting to Fred Tennant, AgriThority Director of Global Business. With experience as an international bilingual sales manager and team developmentPardo has driven sales results with channel partners as well as the seed industry. Previously, he was Vice President of International Sales with Blaze Products Corporation and lead consultant at Integrated Action Science Consulting. Pardo also spent more than 20 years in several roles at Bayer and a Bayer legacy company with 15 years based in Mexico as Country Manager 

“Tony has a wealth of experience in the U.S. and internationally and will be a great asset to the AgriThority business development team,” Tennant says. “He has already hit the ground running, and we’re thrilled to have him join our team.”

Brian Huseman, DVM, MS, joins AgriThority as an Associate working in Regulatory Services & Animal Agriculturereporting to Gloverson Moro, Ph.D., AgriThority Director of Global Product Development. Huseman will focus on continuing to expand regulatory and developing business in the animal health sector. He has owned a regulatory consultancy since 2018 after 10 years as Vice President and Director of Regulatory Affairs at Ceva Biomune. He also spent 13 years in regulatory roles at Intervet/Schering Plough, among others 

“Brian has a wealth of animal health and regulatory experience that will continue to expand our current offerings and global partnership with knoell, a Germany-based global regulatory company,” Moro says. “We’re looking forward to having him on the AgriThority team.”
