We are at the beginning of a new age in agriculture where chemical references will be replaced gradually by microbials, plant extracts, enzymes. The increasing population creates an urgency to develop environmentally friendly, biological solutions.
I’m inspired to find new ideas to address the challenges, and I’m proud to work on projects that allow me to represent the future of agriculture.
I’ve been interested in biology from an early age. This curiosity led me to pursue my degree in agriculture engineering with specializations in horticulture and phytotherapy. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to consult with major ag companies on regulatory affairs in Europe pertaining to molecules and biologicals. My work with FC Chemicals in new biologicals unit offered me the possibility to be a part of a company in total evolution and introduced me to a wide network of colleagues and partners in the ag business. This allowed me to form a “community” of sorts, and I continue to communicate and exchange information with this group.
One of those individuals was Erol Karkan, Sales & Business Development Manager at AgriThority®. We met on a business trip, and he introduced me to opportunities at AgriThority®. My role in EU pesticides distribution gives me the opportunity to stay focused on the latest regulations and directives updates. My expertise in the marketing and commercialization of pesticides and biostimulants allows me to consult on a broad landscape. My past expertise in regulatory offers to clients a better understanding of the EU regulation, and my activities allow me to link AgriThority® clients to potential distribution partners. While I am still relatively new in my role as AgriThority® Product Development Manager, I’m working on a variety of interesting projects with an exciting client who is moving fast.
